Smart Deposition AI collects the information needed to operate mock deposition training: trainee name and email, session recordings and transcripts (used to generate grading and certificates), and billing information processed by Stripe (we do not store card numbers ourselves).
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. API keys and secrets used to run this service are never exposed to the browser.
No session recording begins without an explicit consent notice shown to the trainee before that session starts.
We do not currently claim SOC 2 certification, HIPAA compliance, or compliance with any specific state's data-security or AI-governance law. If you need our current security documentation, contact hello@depositionai.com.
